CyberLink Live Bundled with ECS Motherboards

CyberLink Corp, innovative solution provider for the connected digital lifestyle, today announced that Elitegroup Computer System (ECS), a leading motherboard manufacturer, has chosen CyberLink Live with Intel® Remote Wake Technology as the energy-efficient remote media access solution on ECS’s ECS G43T-WM motherboard. The bundle will begin shipping in the US and Europe market in December, 2008.

CyberLink Live is remote media access web service that allows users to access and enjoy digital media content stored in their home PC from any web browser. Bundled with ECS G43T-WM motherboard, which supports Intel® Remote Wake Technology, users can wake up their PC from sleep mode for secure remote access of their digital media, such as live TV shows, webcam feeds, videos, photos, music and documents, whilst keeping the PC at home energy efficient.

“We are pleased to work with ECS to enable such eco-friendly technology allowing users to conveniently access their digital media content stored on the home PCs remotely while on-the-go,” said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. “CyberLink Live and Intel Remote Wake Technology strike the perfect balance between the enjoyment of connected digital lifestyle and reducing wasted energy.”

“We are glad to work with CyberLink to implement this technology solution that allows users to access and enjoy their multimedia from anywhere, anytime with ECS G43T-WM motherboard. Our joint efforts give users an active role in saving unnecessary energy usage,” said Kevin Yang, General Manager of ECS Mainboard, Add-on card and Systems Products Business Unit.
