Asus M50Sv-B1 Notebook Computer Review

Rather than being you're typical 15.4-inch boring book Asus did a few interesting things with the M50Sv-B1. It is part of the M50 series, which means a 15.4-inch display, discrete graphics, and a number pad but there are surprises as well. The big one on the M50Sv-B1 is the use of a Blu-ray drive, which is an expensive option to see on a notebook that sells for about $1500. What this means though is that the B1 currently sells for about $100-150 more than the M50Sv-A1, which also manages to score an improved processor. This means that the B1 route is not for everyone, but if you are looking to pick up a Blu-ray drive for some portable HD video than this is a prime option.
