ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB Video Card Preview

"The retail card that we have is the Sapphire Radeon HD 4850, which features an MSRP of $199 and will be the jewel in the price versus performance charts for months to come. It is also the first card that has a TeraFLOP of compute power. Not bad at all for a price tag of just $199!"

There is a full review at Guru3D.
Here: AMD ATI Radeon HD 4850 Crossfire Force 3D & PowerColor
The review is complete, even with crossfire results. Crysis XFire results seem a bit odd though.

All the numbers seem a bit too high, no? Not just for this card, for all.
Basicaly you can play Crysis with a 9600GT at 2500x with all settings at high...yeah right.

Absolute rubbish. hilbert can't write to save his life. The last one I read had a bloody greek guy from the film 300 over the card with a crap photoshop botch and a load of stupid ass text. such as "this card is a greek powerhouse........ SPARTANNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!" (no seriously im not kidding)

Ill wait on driverheavens review, anyone who takes any editorial of guru3d seriously hasn't a clue what they are reading.

ah come on, guru3d editorials have their place. I read them all the time, mostly for a laugh mind you because the text is so utterly horrific most of us in work just sit around chuckling at the silly humourous jokes (which don't work at all in the contexts of a review). the spartan review was hilarious, I can't remember anything about it apart from the dopey photoshoped pictures with greek characters in them and the text which sounded like a kids book or something.

I agree completely man. I don't actually read the review(stopped reading reviews from Guru3D a long time ago). Just thought it would be interesting to see some numbers. It took me 2min to scan trough the numbers and thats it.
I do comprehend and appreciate the quality of driverheaven and its interviews though. Thats why i am member of this site, and not on guru3d.:P

Cheers.

Looks more like a HD3850 with a photoshopped heatspreader and GPUz shot to me :/
