Microsoft struggles with Vista's perceptions

In the 15 months since Windows Vista had its mainstream launch, Microsoft says it's made progress on a number of key metrics: things like application compatibility, availability of drivers, performance, reliability, and battery life.

All I know is if I could afford it I would install it and replace the aging, needing a format every now and then, XP.

And I could never understand why all the hate for MS for availability of drivers. Never.

I agree. The only thing I find strange, is that with most games I get slightly worse performance with Vista. For the most part, it's not a problem, but I do understand the complaints.

Other than that, I think it's better than XP all around. It seems those Mac Guy ads are making an impact.
