Apollo Aposonic Radeon HD 3850 512MB Video Card
You may not have heard of Apollo, but I feel like we are old friends. The first video card I reviewed was an Apollo geForce 6600GT AGP. It still runs today and is occasionally used on the Socket A rig that it was originally reviewed on. Apollo builds a full line of both ATI and nVidia cards.
It has been a long time since I used a Radeon card. Actually, the 6600GT replaced my last Radeon card, a 9600 Pro. It was a good mid-range card, and I had no complaints about it at all. Having used geForce cards exclusively for the past four years, and owning three Crossfire capable Motherboards,I thought it was time that I go back and see what ATI has to offer. _____________ Review: OCIA |
