GeForce 9800 GX2 Review Round-up
"A new desktop chipset complete with a DDR3-based memory controller is here, along with a dual-GPU powered monolith of a graphics card that is NVIDIA's most powerful to date. Together, the combination of a GeForce 9800 GX2 (or two GX2s) with the nForce 790i SLI Ultra chipset redefine the high-end of desktop PC gaming hardware."
__________ Review: HotHardware Today NVIDIA launches their GeForce 9800 GX2 dual GPU card. It comes with two G92 GPUs and uses a new cooling design where a single cooler sits in the middle and cools both GPUs. We have the card from Zotac on our testbench today which follows the reference design specification. Unlike many other publications all our testing was conducted in Windows XP because we think that's what the majority of users still plays on. __________ Review: techPowerUp Well today NVIDIA and its board partners are introducing NVIDIA’s new high-end GPU the 9800GX2. We should actually just call this NVIDIA’s new card since like AMD/ATI’s 3870X2 this is a card using 2 GPU’s. NVIDIA has been down this road before with the 7950GX2 of 2 years ago. __________ Review: Bjorn3D |

Additional Reviews
We saw what the ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 can do; now it is time for NVIDIA to step up and impress us with their “SLI on a card” video card with the GeForce 9800 GX2. Inside we will compare an XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 with two SLI setups and the ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 in Crysis, Clive Barker’s Jericho, and COD 4.
____________ Review: [H] Enthusiast For quite a while now, the 8800 GTX and 8800 Ultra have been the fastest single GPU cards around. In spite of the fact that we haven't seen any faster single GPU solution introduced, it is only recently that the rest of the lineup has become compelling on either the NVIDIA or AMD front. Aiming high is a good thing for those who can afford it, but until the technology makes its way into cheaper products most of us won't see the benefit. _____________ Review: Anadtech With two G92 cores on board, the GeForce 9800 GX2 is NVIDIA's response to the Radeon HD 3870 X2. Does this new graphics flagship possess the panache to retake the performance title from ATI? Check out our findings of this new-generation SLI-sandwich. ____________ Review: Hardwarezone NVIDIA just launched the GeForce 9800 GX2 video card with a pair of 600MHz G92 GPUs, 256 stream processors running at 1.5GHz and 1GB GDDR3 memory operating at 2GHz. We have a couple XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 cards on hand and the performance numbers are very impressive. Read on to see how the GeForce 9800 GX2 does against a number of other video cards! ____________ Review: Legit-Reviews Please Read DH's XFX 9800 GX2 and 790i Ultra Sli.
