With toxic trash piling up all over the world, dead zones in our oceans, terrorist states trying to build nuclear weapons, and the US national debt climbing ever higher to pay for a war, 2007 was a bleak year for some people. We tech geeks, however, enjoyed 2007 immensely. It saw some amazing breakthroughs in technology; it gave us some terrific products.

The downside is that it was also full of disappointments large and small, from new memory technologies to nearly-broken operating systems (and we're not talking about Windows Vista). 2007 saw some hotly-awaited technologies sputter; they failed to live up to their lofty potential. That's not to say they never will; they just didn't by the end of this year.

I love this list

Even though i hate to se AMD on it, they deserve it.

Safari for WIndows is properly on those things this year where i just thought... wauv what a fucking waste of time, start fixing bugs and security flaws in your current software Apple, before launching new crap on the Windows platform. And lets not forget Quicktime has been having some serious security flaws this year and Apple has been embarrassing slow to fix those flaws.

If I had a dollar for every e-mail they'll receive about giving bad press for Apple.

apple fanboism is hilarious, their comps are good for those with basic needs though..... they excel at that.
