E-Filing Glitch Causes Oregon State Tax Refunds to Be Erroneously Donated
Source: Tech-Ex
__________ In Oregon, the so-called "kicker law" requires the state to return surplus tax revenues to taxpayers when collections exceed projections by more than 2%. So, in a good tax year for the state, you get what's called a "kicker check" right about now. Unfortunately, many e-filers seem to be getting lumps of coal instead of their check. |
