Wow, this was a quiet promotion. Sorry, I would have alerted my readers if I had even heard of it --- but I also would not have signed up for it anyway.

The program is the Windows Feedback Program. You download and install a monitoring program, and until they ran out of software, you could gotten some freebies. Originally the giveaway was good until 12/31, but they had a spurt of sign-ups with some publicity earlier in the week.
