Granite Bay just as good as Canterwood

AFTER ALL that money and development that Intel poured into Canterwood... Going out of it's way to make everyone think that was the best thing since sliced wafers... Tom's Hardware has come up with an expose that shows the older Granite Bay chipset is just as good.

VR-Zone has a nice little PowerColor 9800 Pro on the workbench. No prizes for guessing that it's fast but it might just be faster than other 9800 Pro based cards...

There's a review of an Inno3D Tornado GeForce FX 5200 over at 3D Velocity. The DirectX 9 stuff in it is nice but they it seems fair to suspect that they were hoping for more performance.

If you've been wondering how the Opteron will do as a desktop workstation, Anandtech has some answers. The results are pretty exciting.

The link is a few days late making it to the roundup but you'll want to drool anyway. CNN has a few small screen shots and some details of the upcoming game Half-Life II.

There's a good old ding-dong of a battle between the 9800 Pro and FX5800 Ultra over at Ace's Hardware. Will having the latest drivers make a difference?

Hexus has a review up of the Hush Technologies Mini-ITX PC. They like think it would look good in your lounge.

Lastly, the Coolermaster Aero makes yet another appearance. If it wasn't for the fact that we haven't posted a link to DataFuse in such a long time we'd assume that you already know all about it.
