Getting a rough ride in the reviews...

V3 is not an upgrade, but a new (cross platform) codebase, so it's actually more like a 1.0 - the main complaints seem to be losing deatures from the highly developed V2, so it may be better to stick with V2.2.32 if the cross platform (Windows + Linux) aspect is not important, at least until V3 gets back to the level V2 had reached.
