Windows Vista has a decent photo importing, sorting, and "fixing" application built in, called Photo Gallery. As a means of getting your digital photos onto your PC and sorting through them, it works well enough, but there's plenty of room for improvement. On Wednesday, the company released the new Live Photo Gallery beta, which includes a host of improvements. Oh, and it's available for Windows XP. I decided to install it on an XP machine and give it a little whirl. So after half an hour of taking a few photos in downtown San Francisco with my trust PowerShot G7, here's what I found.
