High-end Voodoo PC catches fire at PC Mag's labs

San Francisco (CA) – The editors at PC Magazine’s labs got a good dose of second hand smoke when a very expensive Voodoo computer they were testing burst into flames. Brian Neal says the fire was contained before it engulfed the entire computer.

wonder if it was an amd rig...

that aside, it looks like a mb/psu issue from the pix, though you got to wonder about their qc.

Scares the shit outta me that sort of stuff, wonder what malfunctioned to allow temps on any component to reach those temps without throttling or shutting down. I never ever leave my PC on when im out or asleep in another room, think I may pop out and buy a small extinguisher for my room tomorrow
