I need this card because I'm the widow of an Iraqi general, who stole millions from Saddam, but this money is now locked in an account which needs to be transferred to a trustworthy foreign resident, and the bank will only allow this money to be freed after certain fees are to be paid, and as is well known Iraqi banks require fees to be paid in graphics cards.

I need this card because in today's digital age, Media PC's have reached new levels of popularity, with many people building quiet, cool running systems which are capable of powering HDTV content to your monitor and TV. The popularity has increased so much that Driver Heaven has even published guides on how to build your first Media PC.

I need this card because my mother-board ran away from home when I was little, leaving me with only some DDR memories of her. I never knew my father-board, and if not for the capacity for love of a passing power supply, which supplied me with the power to carry on, I'd never have come this far. Unfortunately, she is getting old, and is not able to carry a full modern household system, yet she would very much like to see a good graphics card plugged into her as in the old days. I therefore have no choice but to beg the good people at Driver Heaven to give her the honour she's entitled to in her old age.

I need this card because Sweet Jebus came to me in a dream, and he said, yeah, he said, go and grab ye a shader model 3 graphics card, he said, and let the blessing of the Lord shine upon thee in millions and trillions of colours, in His full HDR glory! Hallelujah!

I need this video card so I can have an excuse to stay in my room with my lights off and my door shut, curtains down, a case of bawls in my mini fridge next to me, and no sense of time and play video games with good graphics. Right now I have a FX5200 PCI Express video card and I dont want to play video games because the graphics are so bad. Instead of playing video games, I have been going outside and being burnt by the sun because of my pale skin. So, if you want to save my life by preventing me from going outside and getting melanoma and if you want to save a gamer from leaving the rebellion and joining the darkside(not just because they have cookies, although they are my favorite) then you will give me a video card.

Needy dad...

By next month, i'll become a dad. i'd have to give up spending on pc upgrades since my baby would need constant upkeep! That would keep my budget in check most of the time. Your free ECS video card would definitely keep my upgrade itch scratched without clawing into my wallet!

I'm building a Geminiwavetherobot robot for world domination. It is controlled by a HAL computer. It has vision capability through the use of a camera. It requires a video card with video capture capability to connect to its video camera. I've busted my budget while building this 50 meter tall robot so I need to win this contest to get an ECS video card.

Poor ME!

I need this card because my mother is disabled and going through a divorce, and i had to leave my job over a year ago to help her take care of her daily needs, and have not been able to get anything for her dragging computer since. I need this card because my mother is epileptic, and she misses all of her favorite shows because she falls asleep while trying to watch them. She's tryed unsuccessfully to set her vcr up to do this for her, but thats like building a house with rocks and sticks. This would be just what she/we need to finally give her what she really needs and deserves in this time of need. I made this new identity for anonomous purposes, because this kind of admission is fairly embarrassing. Thanks so much for giving the community this kind of outreach. "speedyspeedy"

I want one because i have been in the process of trying to get a Multi-media PC in the works for a while. Right now I got a crappy 9700 AIW Pro in it that the power connector that has the plastic fallen off makes me worry about running it from my old system (PIV 2.4, 512 ram and Win 2000 or XP able to be used). The system is built already and I just got the OS running, and I am hoping for this so I can get my multi-media center working because I am a tech geek (though my GF laughs at me for it). I need to show her how useful it will be for beating her old VCR.

If none of the cards are AGP I can put my current X800 AIW XT into my old computer and put in the new one into my cuirrent system (which is in the RMA process because the mobo took out the CPU and itself).... Because my mobo when I get it back from the RMA is the 939dual-SATAII with native AGP and PCIe. Then my system would be up to date for this poor college student who only has a working computer at his internship.

archaic = my machine

Like many others out there, I have several reasons why I need a new video card with a PCI-Express Interface, here are 8 of them...you know just to name a few

1. My current video card is a 9800se-softmodded to a 9800pro. When unlocking the broken pipelines, I get artifacts out the wazoo. It still has an AGP interface and at the time of this typing, the cards are about 3 generations ahead of mine according to some tables/gfx card reviews.

2. I haven't built a new computer since 2004, so technically for gaming I can't say anymore "all your base are belong to us" because my framerates are low. Thus causing lag for me (fast reflexes from playing basketball and finger-type ddr games cannot improve anything if video lag is terrible).

3. I deleted all my pc games for the summer and until I get into my major, so I can become more productive. So you're asking what are you going to do with one of those cards if I were to receive one, I'd go more in-depth into using solidworks, since it'd allow me to have more 'parts'. I'd try and learn matlab before school started again so I'd have a jumpstart in my classes. I'd also try and learn other various programming languages other than just the basics of C++ (who uses c++ nowadays anyways?). With that said, it'd help me land one of my career jobs once I acquire my mech. engr. degree.

4. I can finally move away from VGA plugs and hop on the bandwagon of DVI...only soon to be frustrated once again in the next year or so when Display-ports come to be the new standard. This would force me to enter the era of LCD monitors, which are so much easier/nicer on the eyes. (Yes, I'm still using a 17in, 15.9'' viewable CRT monitor).

5. If I were to build a new computer, I'd then be able to give this one away to my sister, so she could stop bothering me to play Neverwinter Nights when I want to sleep, watch anime, look at porn, chat, websurf, etc.

6. If I acquired one of these cards, I'd finally have a reason to open up my computer case and let the creatures known as Mushi escape. Having just seen "Mushishi", I'd also become a Mushishi..."Mushishi Lao". I'd gain the ability of attracting other Mushi to me making me never able to stay in one place for too long. I'd have to carry my 40lb desktop with me causing my 'slim-azn' physique to build in muscle and look like a short-ripped azn you see every now and then (if you live in cities that is). With this new-found power, I'd travel and collect other Mushi and input it into my new pc. Soon enough, I'd have a library all about Mushi with amazing graphics and pictures. I'd post it on the internet for everyone to see what one could see if they had the ability to see Mushi. People would think you're crazy and imagining things, while few others of the same abilities would know the truth. Only a Nvidia 7xxx or equivalent/higher card could display these Mushis otherwise it'd show a blank screen and no one would believe.

7. With a Nvidia 7xxx card, I'd gain the ability of foresight while gaming and as said before, be able to say "All your base are belong to us".

8. If I won, I'd feel like I was indebted to this community and my local community. This feeling of debt and guilt would cause me to try and be more active and helpful to everyone around me. I just might find a significant other then...

I'd chalk up the courage to donate blood again after finding out that my veins are too small and there's a high-risk of my vein collapsing when inserting the needle.
