DH Competition: ECS - Media PC 5 Video Card Giveaway!

First thing:This is the second wonderful contest organised by DH and ECS so thank you to both.

Now to tell you why would I want to win this card:I want to build for my parents an entry level pc to use it with an internal TV tuner,cause they want to have a TV in the bedroom,and a LCD TV is much expensive.I already bought the power supply,memory and cpu and I would need one of these cards to complete the system.

I want one because I need a faster movie play-back especially when I am dealing with HD movies formats online and quicktime. Not to mentions it got a Pure-video technology to fire up your movie experience!

I need this card because….

Once upon a time there was a Breton named Elohim. Elohim was frolicking along in the great world of Tamriel rendered on his trusty ATI X1600 Pro video card. He was torching rats, impaling imps, and bashing trolls left and right having a hell of a time! Suddenly… the world went black… “What happened”, thought Elohim to himself. Suddenly there were no more rats to be torched, no more imps to be impaled, and a decided lack of trolls to bash. In fact there was nothing at all…

Now, as I am the narrator of this story, I am sure that everyone out there is hanging on my every word in suspense at what might happen to Elohim next. Well, I would also like to find out. But until I get a video card better than my ATI 9600 Pro, which is what I am using since my X1600 Pro croaked mid game a couple of months ago, I can’t play that stupid game at any sort of reasonable frame rate! So, please give me this nice new shiny Nvidia video card so poor Elohim can continue to torch his rats, impale his imps, and bash the friendly neighborhood troll.

I would love an opportunity to build my 16 year old step son a computer he could actually use rather than a 4 or 5 year old system that doesn't even have usb 2.0 ports on it... This would force me to comply rather than giving up my fiance's system and building her a new gaming system in time for ut3... which of course I'll be needing to go quad-core by then as well... I want the card for one simple reason: So my three year old son will leave my computer alone!

I have built an extra computer built from spare parts, but all it needs is a decent card to be a machine that you can game on.

My son always comes up to me as soon as he gets home from daycare and says "Daddy, Sam?" or "Daddy, Race?" He means either Serious Sam 2 or NFS: Most Wanted.

Of course, if I am in the middle of doing something on my machine and I tell him no, he has a fit and doesn't calm down until I get off of my own computer and let him play his games!

Or my favorite, I will get up in the morning on a weekend and he is already on it playing something. (Yes, he knows how to turn it on, and he even knows where the shortcuts for the games are. He even has down the sequence of the game menus from within the games themselves to start the games!)

So please, help me finish my secondary computer so I can get my computer back from my son!

i want this card just so i can have some kind of start..... i have no money, and probably will never have more than 20 bucks at one time. if i have this card, i can finally have some base to build on

or at the very least sell it and start my own secret stash of money that i will bury inside my matress..... anything would help,

Unfortunately for him, he can only communicate with the past, not visit it, so he must have someone here get him the card and send it to be delivered in fifty years.
