In today's marketplace there is no shortage of lightweight notebook computers. Practically every manufacturer has at least one model with a screen that is 12" or smaller and an overall weight of about 4lbs, though the term "lightweight" is not always clearly defined. Generally speaking, ultraportable notebooks are the smallest and lightest while lightweight models are one category larger. They tend to be quite portable, but not nearly as expensive or limited (in terms of size and power requirements) as smaller products, making them a great choice for people frequently on the move but with limited budgets. This review will be looking at Toshiba's Tecra M6 a lightweight notebook aimed at the value-minded user who is willing to overlook style for substance.
