This package upgrades the Sound Blaster Live! driver and enhances the overall product performance on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. The package also upgrades core applications including Audio HQ and Surround Mixer for optimal Sound Blaster Live! performance.

This update:-

Resolves compatibility issues with Sound Blaster Live! products on Windows 2000 and Windows XP


Requirements:

For Windows 2000 and Windows XP users ONLY. Creative SB Live! Series Audio card installed.

This package can be installed independently and does not require other applications in the LiveDrvUni-Pack to be downloaded.

Older Sound Blaster Live! Experience demo applications may not work properly when updated with the LiveDrvUni-Pack.

Older Drivers under XP can be uninstalled via "ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS".

As NewsFactory mentioned this package can be installed independently.
And has on both of my profiles.

The latest release from Creative still leaves me baffled.

I have the Cambridge Home theatre speaker system with SB Live Platinum card - 5 speakers plus Sub.

The Creative software only allows me to choose 2 or 4 speakers or headphones. The help file actually refers to 5.1 speakers but the software doesnt offer them as an option.

What am I missing?

What I ment was these are older than the Aud 2 drivers that I am using on my 5.1.
Also if you check out the dates and build numbers af what they are realising you will find all of this is fram last july. All of th updates for the live are from july 02.
