LucasArts today announced a new agreement with UK-based Free Radical Design, developer of the TimeSplitters FPS series and Second Sight, to create a new game for unspecified next-generation platforms. The companies noted that more details will be forthcoming at a future date.

The move marks Free Radical's second unnamed title known to be in development for next-generation consoles. In November 2005, the company announced an agreement with Ubisoft to create a title for next-generation platforms and the PC for release in 2006, a commitment which was later reemphasized during the most recent E3 in May
