Nvidia Detonator Drivers 42.42 WHQL Candidate 2 For Windows 2000/XP

Saw this over at warp2search. Yes yet more nvidia drivers. I just hope they are better than the last 3 sets ive tried.

Here are the details:
Leadtek have released two sets of Nvidia Detonator Drivers 42.01 | 42.42 WHQL Candidate 2 for Windows 2000/XP! All these drivers were uploaded to Leadtek's server on 18 February 2003.

These drivers were useless on my Geforce 3 Ti 500.. they did not even recognize the card when i installed them.

Btw, the best drivers for me so far have been the 42.51 set...easily the smoothest and fastest of the newer Det releases.... The Omega set based on the 42.30's i found to have more stuttering in UT2003 than the 42.51's.

42.51s? Really? I don't remember them well...I'm off to download 'em and re-try them. I liked the latest Omegadrive 9x offerings a LOT, but haven't tried the XP ones yet. (XP='sort of yuck', for me at least. )

These didn't install on my Ti4400. Looks like a modified INF file is needed. The only cards listed in the INF is the Quadro FX 2000 and Quadro FX 1000.

Didnt install on mine either.I have a GeForce 4 Ti 4200.
