There is a certain irony in the fact that when buying a MP3 player, looks are one of our primary buying influences, yet the first thing we need to do after buying them is to hide them in a protective case. Certainly the iPod is the most guilty here being particularly scratch prone. In fact, after carefully unwrapping my new iPod 60GB iPod I found that it even had a feint scratch on the screen before I’d even touched it. Gee, thanks Apple.
