Be the maestro of the house, with a remote
Source: News.com
__________ If you believe the self-help books, it doesn't take a lot of money to feel truly rich. All you need is good health, some supportive friends and a sense of purpose. But, man, a multiroom sound system sure doesn't hurt. Unfortunately, that particular luxury really does cost money. A whole-house sound system usually involves hiring somebody to run wires through your walls, install custom speakers and program a wireless remote control. The result is pretty cool: Standing in one spot, you can start soft jazz playing in the dining room, classical on the patio and something up-tempo in the rec room. But you'll pay dearly for the privilege. Figure $1,000 a room and up--way up. |
