Tiny Alaskan Town Gets DHS Funds For Surveillance Cams

A small Alaskan fishing village is divided over surveillance cameras paid for by U.S. Department of Homeland Security funds.

Dillingham, a village of 2,400 near the tundra, has six police officers and no traffic lights, but it has 60 surveillance cameras. And, it will soon get 20 more.

Anchorage has less than 40, but the whole state has received more than $40 million in anti-terror funds in the last three years, according to the Anchorage Daily News.
