I don't know if'n I'm gonna be able to make it or not, it depends on if I can get me Mum to babysit the wee ones for me....but I thought I'd let any of the local members know that the PC show is back at the Lincoln Center this Saturday (Jan 25th) from 10-3p. It's a great place to nab some really great deals, you can actually beat pricewatch prices on some things since there's no shipping!

Ok, so it's basically an elementary school gymnasium filled with banquet tables covered with PC stuff for sale....it's me favorite escape and I think I've built half my systems from stuff from there. Even if I ain't planning on buying anything, I still have a good time just walking around and chatting with the vendors. (Did I mention I don't really get much of a chance to talk computers to people in real life? I don't really get much of a chance to talk computers to people in me real life.... )

Oh geez. I thought that you were talking about the Midwest Computer Show. That show is usually loaded with shitty stuff. They just left Chicago so I thought that's what you were talking about.

I've found some very decent hardware at good prices at the one that is coming to our area Saturday. There are actually two shows that come at different times run by different companies, this one is the better of the two.
