Does anyone have any experience getting paid for writing reviews online?

I wrote one of two reviews on eopinions, but I don't recall it being a pay service.

I think there are different levels of reviewers for Epinion. I've heard more than ones that they send check to their tier-one reviewers.

Very rarely would anyone get paid for reviews. They send you the hardware for free. You get it early, post your review, and then get to keep the hardware. The only perks I know of that reviewers might get would be insider information, hardware sooner than other reviewers, and maybe some extra hardware. But, I don't know every reviewer in the world so it's all just speculation really.

[EDIT] Yeah, that seems to be the best route. If I were a reviewer, I'd much prefer to receive and review things that I can dismantle seeing as I'm a hands-on kind of guy. I can't review hardware for the life of me.
