MicroCenter: 20% off ALL Power Supplies

For the month of January, until the 29th, at least, M/C has a special going on all Power Supplies. 20% off the marked price.

Thought some of you might be interested.

EDIT: FWIW, I got this one today:

http://www.ultraproducts.com/product...&productID=369

I'm keeping in mind that I plan to upgrade this spring to PCI-e and will likely keep my eyes peeled for good deals on things that I'll migrate to the new system.

I just completed putting this new one in. The downside is that I can no longer use my voltage monitor/adjustment that came with my 400W SOYO.

Drakon will become famous soon enough

Hmmm, I haven't had good experiences with Ultra PSUs. I think it was the X-Connect that was giving a lot of problems. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did

This one comes with a 3-year warranty right out of the box. Then, by registering online it extends it to a lifetime warranty.

One thing I've noticed right away: There's no more 'fluctuating' with my monitor like I've mentioned previously. That may be due to the absence of the voltage monitor OR the increase in AMPerage on this PSU. At any rate, there's no more of that going on and my monitor gives me a nice 'solid' image now.

I've bought one Ultra PSU that blew after an hour's use. I sent it off to RMA and they never sent me one back. They don't answer emails or reply with "We'll look into it" and several months, if not a year, later, still no PSU. Needless to say, I'll never buy any Ultra products again.
