Need glasses, I think
Ugh...seems like I need glasses, atleast, reading glasses.
Gotta go to the eye doctor this week and find out. This sucks. I already have $200 sunglasses, guess I get to rack up $200 more for non-sun glasses. Because, well, I swear by Oakleys, and their lenses are more then worth it, in my book. My girlfriend's glasses were $150, so if I can get the Oakley's for $50 more then "something else"...I'm there.
But damnit, I'm gunna look funny in glasses

I lost my girlfriend recently...it's a shame. But the relationship lasted long enough that I still remember how she used to tell me she liked me to dress, and I still do dress like how she said. I got a new one already but am still missing the old one. Oh well, the new one was a good friend who was begging for me to take her in, so don't think I'm a bad guy, I just thought I'd finally let her perseverence pay off. You lucky guys who are able to keep a girlfriend so long...I hate you!!!!
I was almost going for one year, I'd known her about a year almost but the relationship had been going for 7 months. I get the strange feeling it was my fault its over...cos I think it is. Oh well.

Bah! Getting glasses is just part of getting old. I got my first pair about 4 years ago when I was 32. Luckily I have vision insurance, so my glasses only cost me about $50 out of pocket.
I need to replace those though.

Not really, my little sister faked and got hers cos she thought it'd make her look better. Some metallic blue framed oval things. She didn't use them for long either.

The difference there is that she bought them for fashion. I bought them so I could SEE!
If I had my choice I wouldn't wear them. Uhnfortunately I don't look very good squinting to see things that are more than 3 feet away from my face. SO maybe that's a fashion choice as well, eh?

i'd rather have to deal with glasses than want to go with lasik eye surgery and have the possibility of the doc screwing up and me not being able to EVER see again.
just some food for thought

I wore glasses for several years from the time I was in middle school until just a few years ago. I have a slight astigmatism that makes me slightly near-sighted.
Then, as an adult I got some hard contact lenses and wore those for maybe 10 years.
It's kind of strange, but now, I don't wear glasses or contacts except to drive at night time. And then I only put them on if I'm needing to look for addresses or such.
But, pj, has anyone ever told you you don't look funny without glasses?

I'm far to sexy for such things
But yea, I think insurance will pay up to $125 for them, or something like that. My brother has contacts, and I refuse to do that...whoever thought placing the glasses IN your eye was a good idea...is a f*ckin idiot in my book
