Amazing Blue screen of death story
This one is a little different..
My girlfriend called me, saying how her laptop kept getting a blue screen when she turned her computer on. It wouldn't go past the Windows boot screen at all. So I told her to try all those boot settings, safe mode, last known good configuration, all that. Nothing worked, so I started to think that maybe some system files were bad.
I asked her if she had the Windows CD lying around for the repair feature, and she said that she will look later because she was going to take a shower. Less than 5 minutes later, she called me back saying that she got it to work.
Wanna know what she did? She punched the keyboard.
She said, "I hit it right in the middle of the keyboard. Sure, the Windows screen took forever to load, but it's working!"
So.. maybe it was hardware-related?

lol.
I was having a BSOD problem last night. I was getting so angry, it wouldn't boot on either of my two windows installations. I look in my case, and i notice the area around my ram is extremely hot. I accidently turned my OCZ DDR booster up, so my ram was getting 4.1V turned it down and it worked fine thank goodness.

Just more proof that computers feel pain and they don't like it.
