It's been a while...
Ever since I've changed jobs, I haven't had much free time(actually none). Last night(friday) is the first time I have gone out in 3 months. I Got there and drank a vodka and Red Bull. Went down pretty smoothe. Ordered another. Lost count after I ordered 2 after stumbling out of bathroom. Well, to make a long story short I went from 0 to "can't walk, had to find corner to remain vertical, fumbling with cellphone like it's an alien artifact trying to text message an S.O.S. to my sister" drunk in 1 1/2 hours. (thank u sis for being my designated driver/right leg and random bar guy for being my left leg)
DON'T make the same mistake. I failed to pace myself. And I'm paying for it dearly. Only now at 6:30pm(sat) am I able to sit up without wanting to die. I wanted to get uber wasted and have 3 months of clubbing in one night. Not a good plan. I was too drunk to freak dance with the ladies...what a waste of a LOT of money. Every bit of it and some went into a Tupperware bowl in sis' car, toilet, wastebasket, and/or Wal*Mart bag.
When was the last time you made this mistake? Are you a repeat offender?

This may say something for my mental state but im the polar opposite, I can't sit down at night now without a bottle or two of beer and/or a few glasses of JD. Trouble is i've been at the stage now for a while when it takes more than just a few before I even feel it. Luckily I have the will power to stop but it's easy to see how people could descend into alcoholism and end up under a cardboard box in the park.
Drink responsibly people and know your limits.

Well, as long as i stick to beer i'm fine...it's when i switch over to more potent stuff things turn bad for me, because that I tend to dring vodka in the same tempo as beers...(not a good idea). You could think that i'd learned something at my age im 31 now.. but obviously not...
