What is the OLDEST Computer You Have That Still Works?
I'm sure there are some oldies, but goodies amongst us.
For me, I still have, sitting over here on a shelf, a Compaq Prolinea 5100 that was assembled in 1994. It still fires up whenever I hook up a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to it.
It's one of those 'real' Desktop computers and one of the early ones that came with a PCI slot right adjacent to the ISA slot.
So, what's your own oldie, but goodie?

currently, the oldest i have is an HP 6645c or something like that......it's a 566Mhz Celeron w/192Mb of SDR (i upgraded it from the 64Mb of ram it came with), a 4x2x48x optical drive, and a Seagate 15Gb HDD.
before that, it was my old 486 dx66, like 8Mb RAM, and 2Gb HDD.....i kept that until i moved my room around and i didn't need that machine as a night stand anymore

I have an Old Compaq Presario that was worth like 3,000 in the 90's, I can run windows XP on it but I refuse to because 98 rocks! Still using the Office 2000 from that comp on this one though. Also still using the old printer for the other comp.

My very first computer purchase was the VIC-20.
After that, I had 3 Commodore 128s. (3 because lightning kept hitting them through the modem I kept neglecting to unplug when I wasn't around. )

I don't generally keep my hardware that I can't use. The oldest working computer I have is a Pentium 166, as an linux router/firewall.

I sold my old system to my uncle last year but it's still working fine. It was a pentium 200mhz w/ mmx, 64mb ram, voodoo3, soundblaster 16, and 6gb hdd. It was great back in '95

Atari 800 and Atari 400 - both 48k machines. They work fine...
I actually have several programming languages for them, including C, Assembly, and two versions of Basic, the Operating System/Service/Technical manual for the 800 - and still have a Dot Hatch/Color Bar program I wrote in Atari Basic to hook up to TVs for alignments. Of course, I have the requisite plethora of cartridge games for them too...
