Rose Parade

I'm not joking when I say I'm from Pasadena, CA, and I'm going to be at the Rose Parade tommorow (second floor of an office building directly on the parade route, relative works there). Anyone else from DH going to be there / watch it on TV?

argh the Rose Parade is in Pasadena where there are a bunch of floats decorated in flowers (including roses) and herer it is followed by the Rose Bowl Championship. Its on a lot of the major channels - ABC has something starting about 13 minutes ago if I recall correctly.

Anyway, I'm posting here right now since the parade started 16 minutes ago but hasn't made it down to my place on the route yet - We just had 3 bi-planes, 3 normal WWII-ish planes, a B2 stealth bomber, and two F-117 fighters just fly over at about 400 feet (They were lower than a nearby 9 story building which they flew around). Very exciting! And WyretheWife - I would if I was going to be on TV just because I'm in a room with about 20 other people and wouldn't stand out as a DH sort of person

However, the TVs are towards the beginning of the route, a couple miles from here, and at 2.5mph, not including stalls, its probably going to be a bit until I start to actually see them...

EDIT: Oops, "them" being the floats and bands and all...
