Knotts and women drivers
Yesterday I recently went to Knotts (amusement park) with my girl and her friends, it was late at night and we were there till about. I did not enjoy most of my time there because her friends are complete morons who still think they are in HS and act like. That was not the worst part of the evening though, on the way back we decided to get a ride from one of her friends. now I was like this couldn't be too bad compared to my (psyco) mother's driving.
Here is the highlights of the drive home:
About 50 ilegal U-turns
Making a couple right hand turns from the lane to turn left
Getting lost and heading in the opposite direction
Blaring the crappiest music I have ever heard in my entire life
At least 20 MPH over the limit on surface streets
And when we got to the freeway it only got worse
When entering the freeway I though to myself, good so now she can go fast while everyone else is goin about the same speed. I was wrong.
For some reason my girl's friend think that the carpool lane is the autoban
We almost hit the center divider about 5 times goin at speeds excess of 110 mph.
Weaving through cars where there would not be enough room if the cars didn't back off.
The highest she got to was 120 and then came to a very abrupt halt when we almost hit a car in the carpool lane, as soon as the lane opened she was goin 100 got out and cut back in front of that person.
Maybe this doesn't display all women drivers but goin fast does not mean you know how to drive. She wrecklessly endagred 4 poeple besides herself by driving like this. If she wants to drive like that by herself and go wrecklessly kill herself, then that is fine, but as soon as she brings other people in the picture I knew I had to say something.
She did kinda mad when we arrived at a local Denny's to find that a gigantic footprint was left on the ground in her car from me stomping on my imaginary brake.
And a word of advice, there is no reason to drive fast on the road unless you want to be held responsible for the people you kill, if you want to go kill yourself because you "feel the need for speed" thats fine, go act like a complete moron, just don't do it with people in your car if you care at all for their life.

Its not about the speed, its about me caring for people other than myself. When a person drives like that they endanger everyone in their car and everyone around them.
I don't care if your a F1 driver, if you get a tire blown out at those speeds, you and everyone in the car is f*cked. I don't have to prove anything to my friends any more so I think about safety and the people around me.

ya thats something i can agree with.
if its just me in the car, and very few to no other drivers around ill open it up, provideing i can see ahead of me for aways. no whiping it around blind spots at 80mph+, no excessive speeding if its not a mostly straight road (unless its a road i know very damn well).
if ive got some one else in the car, or its busy out i cut the horseplay out. just not worth it.
now lighting up the rear tires when im the first one at a stop light and a long stretch infront of me.... best way to introduce your passenger to the power of your car.

since i started driveing almost 2 years ago, ive gone maybe 10K miles. in that time, ive only had 1 blow out, and that was because i had 20 year old tires on my car. even though it wasnt a complete blow out (rubber coating came off on a huge section of the tire, steel belting kept the tire inflated) its not something i want to ever do at high speeds.

Thing of everythign against you, cops, objects on the ground, being tired, and pretty much anything. When you go 100mph on the freeway weaving in and out of traffic then you deserve to die, but think about the innocent people you could kill with wrecklessness. I've had a lot of friends who died from being wreckless on the road, I still hate the ones who killed an innocent man, woman or child because they were beign f*cking ignorent. I can never forgive someone that.
Edit: it only takes one time, and it doesn't have to be a blow out. If you can live with killing an innocent woman and her child then I don't know what to say.

ive never drove out of the country, but i can tell you the worst driveing ive ever seen is in highschool parking lots.
i had to go pick up my sisters homework last week, seeing as shes been sick all week.
anyways, one of the parents didnt want to wait in the long line any longer to pick up there kid. they pulled out of the line, drove into oncomeing traffic, blew through a 4way, almost got hit by an bus and an excursion when she did that. worst part was other parents followed along with her.
i was hopeing every one of the dumbfucks was hit by one of the excursions/escalades there, and then died a miserable death.

the only time to drive 100+ is by yourself on an empty road or freeway. usually around 2:30am is the best time to do this. That is if you can see well in the dark.

Yeah, I usually go around 80 most of the time because the speed of traffic (on a good day) is about 75. I don't think I would go up to 100 unless I was doin some type of long haul or something of the sorts.

damn man....wait till she dips below 40, grab the e-brake, and pray next time.
And first off, no it doesn't reflect all women drivers...my girlfriend drive's exceptionally well.
As for the speeding and stuff, I tend to go anywhere from 80-90 on the freeway, which for anyone who hasn't driven in Atlanta, is about the status quo for the left lane or 2. Surface streets, I go whatever feels comfortable, occassionally it's the speed limit, usually 5-10 over, on rare occassion, it's 20-30 over(there's a long straight 4 lane road by my house with a speed limit of 45 and NO traffic...so, 20 over is what feels "normal")
