Best comic book Character?
Deadpool and Punisher. Those are the ones in my avatar. The reason they kick so much ass is because they don't give a shit about anything. Punisher just wants to kill bad guys and Deapool is a hitman. Deapool went through the X-program like Wolverine and has even better regeneration abilities than him and is also a master assasin. Punisher is just your average ex. millitary pissed off guy.

Vengence (from the ghost rider series) and "The Violator" (I think that was his name. Vengence is GR's nemesis and pretty bad ass looking, he also rides a kick ass bike. The Violator was great because he had a severed human head attached to his hand (from a victim the he punched in the mouth and took his head with it). The head would talk to him and insult him, it was a freakin violent comic book but some funny/distrubing and disturbingly funny stuff happened in it.
wow, it sure has been a while since i though about comic books.

never read comics much, but the 2 i loved were Turok and BloodLines. both incredibly violent, both very kick ass.
as for the characters them selfs, ive always been partial to Wolverine and Venom. Carnage was pretty cool, but i say Venom could kick his ass.

I remember SPAWN...excellent graphics...I have to go to my storage and see my comic collection, but I have it buried somewhere, got the DC / Marvel issue of Superman vs Spiderman...now that is old.
But I used to get creepy comics, The haunted tank, Conan the Barbarian, and of course the old Heavy Metal magazine before it became pornography..

yeah, it used to be pretty decent, then they were like, wait wait, I got it. Lets get her the largest breasts possible with no shirt to destroy any chance of a storyline completely. Still amazes me how good some artists really are and were. DC was always good. Anime's version of boobs are retarded though. The larger the boob, the larger the nipple, though they don't seem to understand the concept. I liked the DC where Batman makes Kryptonite gloves and straight out murders superman.

i dont know about character, but my favorite comic book series is DC vertigos "Sandman". "Lucifer" was very well done as well if you enjoy comics i would suggest checking these out. they re more adult oriented, but have solid stories.

the shadow. originally a pulp and radio show star. there have been several shadow comics but the one that has captured the spirit of the old pulp and radio show shadow was 'the shadow strikes' series.
i was also a fan of ghost.
