Yeah I have always thought about getting a UPS... but never did. You can get cheap ones for really good deals sometimes.. I guess even an inexpensive Belkin or something would be better than a power strip.

also when the power goes out as long as the phone line stays on, if you have dsl ,you can frag for a little while longer and close down any apps that might get screwy if not shut down right.man i need to learn how to make a sentence

Well when I sit down, since I got a nice big but worn out chair, my eyes are almost looking directly into the middle of the screen But ya, I know, I need something better...
Anybody want to help me collect enough funds for a 24" screen? With pivotting action?

I like the thrustmaster dual power controller I had one and it was great.
That dell sub looks big, how's the sound of it? And I like the hardwood (roof?)...looks like your computer place is in a loft or has vaulted ceilings.

Ya the controller is amazing
I quite like the sound of it. Compared to some others I've heard, it's actually pretty decent and for the price, its' amazing. Actually it's an Altec Lansing redressed with Dell logo.
And ya, that's the roof I'm compltely isolated from the real world here
