I don't think my spending has tapered. My gifts are cheaper now, though. Less of a need to impress her.

I don't think people spend that much, I guess if you incluse the guys 1/2 of things it can
add up like going to a movie you wanted to see anyways. It hard to look at see the expence
it totally do to woeing a woman...

I definately believe it.
ring/necklace...kitten...feather comforter...round trip airfare to the bahamas...dinners....movies...lunches....gas for the 65 mile trip to see her...flowers on occassion......
yea....$2500 a year sounds about right
but Neon has a point too...it isn't all totally "for her"....i'd see lots of those mvoies anyways...and i'd eat anyways....and use up gas and such.

Point though is that even if it's not "for her" as you said, you will still be spending that money on yourself, just not as often

lol, well I myself am engaged, but her ring costed 6K alone with a decent 1k stone.
