[Falstaff]

Absolutely marvelous movie....very poignent...and touching and a moral triumph in my opinion....
This is one of the finest pictures I have seen in a long time and caught it on HBO....
Gamers and Sci Fi folks may yawn widely or put StarTrek on, but I was genuinely touched, and so was everyone in the airport lounge, as our flight was delayed, the hostess and the customers were riveted on the entire show....
I ask anyone here that enjoys a good, heartwarming and proper movie that entertains to watch this, and watch the character Gina and her beau, a beaurocrat tell a wonderful tail that surely cannot end with the movie...
I was moved and so were the cocktail waitress, even our foriegn guests were entranced, call it what you will it was well crafted and engaging.

The dialogue alone is not contrived and yet it is about love, tenderness, honesty and the G-8 conference, but the acting really sold me....very good stuff Dyre..

i know that hbo has been hyped since sopronos etc., but i still think they make some great tv films and shorts. A few that i've seen that come to mind....

An excellent picture I saw last night with my wife and eldest two was I Am David - the tale of a Bulgarian boy who escapes from the equivalent of a concentration camp and experiences life and people in the outside world for the first time at age 11. Another uplifting and honest film...

Deadwood is an interesting series but very mature...not for the PG crowd either...
