Hello Nathanael,

Thank you for writing to MSN Hotmail Technical Support.

My name is Peter and I am responding to your concern on your missing messages in your Hotmail account.

I understand how important your messages are and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this matter may have caused you.

Nathaneal, I have checked your xxxxx@hotmail.com account and I have verified that your messages are intact. There are many causes of lost messages. In your case, your account temporarily lost its ability to display these messages.

In the meantime, I suggest that you optimize your browser. Please visit your browser's Help section for steps on how to optimize your browser's performance.

You are valuable at MSN and we look forward to providing you with consistent and effective service. If you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to write back.

Sincerely,

Peter M.

ok what the hell.. so now they know what browser i use? and that i archive my messages lmfao none of this is true

i dont use that "gecko" thing they are talking about and i dont archive my messages.. they just randomly disapeared one day out of my account

EDIT: well i did some of my homework and i geuss Gecko is something to do with mozilla or firefox... other than that i have no idea what it is (but from what i know ive never used such thing lol)

Hello Nathan,

Thank you for writing back to MSN Hotmail Technical Support.

This is Angelie and I have read your e-mail exchange with Peter about your issue on how to retrieve your lost messages.

Nathan, I understand the importance of your e-mail messages and I apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.

After further investigation of your account, I have checked and verified that you have previously set up your Hotmail e-mail messages to go directly to Gecko.

I have engaged additional resources to help retrieve your e-mail. Since we tried to recover all deleted messages, there may be messages that you have purposely deleted before that may be included in the restoration.

E-mail clients, like Gecko or browsers with an “archiving” feature let you save messages in your hard drive. Archiving messages moves your messages from the Hotmail E-mail Server, as you view them through the Hotmail Web Interface, to your hard disk. The Hotmail Server may be unable to recover the messages you have downloaded from it as they are now stored in Gecko e-mail account. Once downloaded, the e-mail messages will no longer show up on the Hotmail Web Interface. For more thorough information on viewing your messages through your e-mail client, please contact Gecko’s Support Team.

We appreciate your understanding. If you have other concerns, please feel free to write us and we will be glad to assist you.

Sincerely,

Angelie S.
