Hello Nathan,
Thank you for writing back to MSN Hotmail Technical Support.
This is Angelie and I have read your e-mail exchange with Peter about your issue on how to retrieve your lost messages.
Nathan, I understand the importance of your e-mail messages and I apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.
After further investigation of your account, I have checked and verified that you have previously set up your Hotmail e-mail messages to go directly to Gecko.
I have engaged additional resources to help retrieve your e-mail. Since we tried to recover all deleted messages, there may be messages that you have purposely deleted before that may be included in the restoration.
E-mail clients, like Gecko or browsers with an “archiving” feature let you save messages in your hard drive. Archiving messages moves your messages from the Hotmail E-mail Server, as you view them through the Hotmail Web Interface, to your hard disk. The Hotmail Server may be unable to recover the messages you have downloaded from it as they are now stored in Gecko e-mail account. Once downloaded, the e-mail messages will no longer show up on the Hotmail Web Interface. For more thorough information on viewing your messages through your e-mail client, please contact Gecko’s Support Team.
We appreciate your understanding. If you have other concerns, please feel free to write us and we will be glad to assist you.
Sincerely,
Angelie S.
