you know.... find some way to cram something like a V-6 in that thing, get it to put out about 230HP, beef up the suspension and brakes..... that could be one hell of a ride.

cant kick it downtown like a player in that.....
I cant believe how expensive gas and rentals are....sheesh

yeah..like the old Messerschmidt cars I saw as a kid in Germany stationed with my Dad, and they are quick and kinda squirrely too, very nimble but exhausting to drive in traffic...and yes...it will drive down narrow Italian streets with ease..assuming your going the right way...LOL
I remember a movie with a bunch of Morris Mini Coopers that were fleeing a band heist and they all meet up on the highway somewhere in the ALPs to collect their loot...man what a great movie...

I love the smart... Don't own one but drove them before, lotsa fun and tons of understeer!  Anyways, in Yurope you don't need big here like you guys accross the pond. Small, feul efficent is what we like (opposite of the hummer in other words)
