For Madison!
This is one of my true pleasures in life, spending time with my daughter. It's hard for me to believe she is 9 years old.
I have had a few people ask me what I have been up to since I havent been at DH for a bit. Well coaching Madison's softball team is one of the things that has been keeping me busy. I just thought I would make madison's day by putting her picture up on line at DH. I know she will be thrilled when she sees it.

Looks like she could knock the socks off the opposing team with that arm. Congrats on a wonderful daughter. One thing I've learned to admire (and fear) from being a teacher is the wrath and love of parents.

Sadly that game went to extra innings and they lost 15-12. However, the next night they won 12 to 1. Win or Lose, I am proud of her and the whole team. They always have fun playing. Although, we are 3-2 right now, hehe!
Madison has been playing fastpitch softball for three years now and does well at it despite dad's bark sometimes, heh! I think she will play it for years to come.

Thank you evo. She can throw the ball hard but sometimes she throws it wild too. And yes dealing with some parents is iritating as hell.
Hey Jeff, I am dreading her getting older already. She is the typical young girl, she's nine and thinks she is 21, knows all and a combination prissy girl/Tomboy depending on who she's around, lol! I would not trade her for the world!!!!

On either side no matter what, fun does play the big part in everything & giving their all is the best acheivement........as of this time im not a parent but would certainly be proud of the fact that they participated and gave the best they possibly could in what ever sport or activity.future improvement may well come..

Mig, you have it exactly right! I think kids learn more when they are having fun and they will stick with something longer when it's fun. Thats where I know Madison is enjoying Softball. After games and after practices she still wants to go outside and throw or hit. IF she never hit the ball or made a play, I would not any less proud of her than now. She always gives it her best.
