Athlon XP Processors? Which is best for its cost?
Ok. Here's the deal. I'm wondering what you all out there believe to be the best Athlon XP for it's price. I am trying to get a new rig setup and I want to figure out the CPU I want first. This is only against three CPUs. I am not immediatly concerned about how well each processor overclocks. I just want opinions about price to speed ratios. All of these prices I have found from www.pricewatch.com .
Athlon XP 2000 - $73
Althon XP 2100 - $85
Athlon XP 2200 - $138
Personally I am leaning to the 2100. I have read that people can get them up to 1.9ghz. But no big deal. What do you all think I should do?

Yeah dude the 2100 is in the sweet spot there. Plus, I think the 2200 does NOT overclock well at all.

K.. Seems the best deal. Just 12 dollars more than the 2000. I like.

Lol, it's almost the same situation when I was looking at 1700, 1800, 1900 for myself. Except I don't care about overclocking.

the differents between them is very very little so if you don't have so much money buy the 2000 or if you are willing to spent a little more money and you are interested in overclocking then I would consider taking the 2100. The 2200 is too expansive and you can't overclock this baby very well
