Well, I want a new Hard drive (because this samsung 5400 rpm is running like a turtle on viagra...slightly excited, with a bit of extra performance, but still a slow ass piece of turd). I'm hoping for an 80 gig WD JB

Also, I hope to get some more ram, preferably 256 mb of pc2100 ram

Aside from that, no other hardware. I am asking for loads of games though

Kind is around here. :)

Kind came in for the holidays, so I'm celebrating it in me own special way. We just spent 5 hours cleaning the house while me Mum had the kids, we're planning on decorating after their nap. (I want a GF4 ti4200 for x-mas, but I probably won't get it. )

EDITED BITS: Oops, forgot to mention I LOVE the hat and frosty! Very nice, subdued without being in your face...but just the right festive touch. I really like it.

Wink

So what hardware would I like Santa to bring me for Christmas? I'd like a black 2003 Mercedes S600 just like the one I played with at Mercedes' TechDrive at Comdex

arrow Dumb happy thought.

I was just thinking to what I always used to ask for when people would nag me about what I wanted for x-mas. I always used to say, "Peace of mind, faith in mankind, and hope for the future."

It's weird to think it, but I can't ask for those things anymore. I got 'em.

I wanna change what I want. I want a little bit more peace and love here on earth, me thinks the world could use it a bit more than I could use a new viddy card.

Thumbs Up!

Christmas came early for me this year.
Friday morning I was at a customer’s office working on their copier, when my boss calls me on my cell phone, and asks me to come and see him at the office. Upper management has been “right-sizing” lately and there have been several layoffs, on the way to the office I’m thinking great I’m getting laid-off just before Christmas. When I get back to the office my boss informs me that my company car, a 1997 Ford Escort station wagon, is too old and has to many km on it. He then tells me that the car budget has been used up for this fiscal year and they can’t purchase any more new vehicles, so instead of getting a 2003 Ford Focus station wagon I had to take a 2002 Ford Winstar 7 passenger van that had been leased for one of the managers that has been laid-off.
I get to keep the van for the full term of its lease, 4 years left on the lease. For a maintenance fee of $100.00 cdn a month I can use the vehicle for personal use and drive up to 2,500 personal km a month.
It’s already a great Christmas.
