Im in the market for a new car sub, some how i think this is out of my price range...

I can garantee that MTX doesnt sell any of those to the average consumer. They well be used for competitions only more than likely. My 600 wrms a/d/s/ sub is too loud for me. I couldn't imaging 6000.

just... why? why the hell would any normal person ever need something that big for personal use?

i never really saw the point in haveing a really loud stereo... i just want something that i can hear when im driveing with the top down on the highway.

To those peeps thinking they won't sell any of those? Yeah they will- teen-age kids and also people who are just into car audio will eat them up-

I have been following that scene since I was 15 years old... people love that stuff. I've always been interested in the installation and fine tuning of a system with proper x-over management more than big huge bass.. 2 ten inch quality subs with clean power is all any audiofile "needs".....

Some people want to rock the neighborhood when they come down the street.. thats the people who will buy that, and there are millions of people out there like that.

Yeah that car doesn't have an engine- it is an electric car. I saw it on some car show a few months ago- Car and driver I think. I bet with that thing running the car's run time would be about 3 minutes...

I wouldn't mind going somewhere like a car audio installation place or something to hear that thing in person though, I bet it is pretty amazing..

You would need one hell of an amp to power it though, and I bet the car you put it in would need two alternators and an an extra battery at the very least.

I am working on an acoustic missle to knock out vehicles with woofers like this...I absolutely f*&king hate it when people crank them...its the most ignorant thing I have ever seen...or close to it., save your money and finish school, that way you wont be pissing people off going through the drive through with this gigantic waste of money buried in your ride... We all would really really appreciate it...working people that is....sheesh.

i work and i used to have a really loud stero (got a decent one now). And people that buy large steros do work, how else do you think they can afford them? they are definatly not cheep!!!! If i drove next to you jeff id be sure to crank the stero up just to piss you "high class" people off!

I think he's getting a little too old and cranky, LOL... it is a definite generation gap. If I hear a loud stereo that sounds GOOD, and it is in the middle of the day, I don't mind, let the guy listen to his tunes.

If I hear a loud CRAPPY SOUNDING car stereo I just laugh, because the chuckle head behind the wheel is too stupid to get his rig sounding right.

If I hear a loud car stereo at night, around a lot of houses, I think the guy is a moron... he should have a little respect for people trying to sleep.

I don't look at loud car stereos any differently than I do at a loud HARLEY which is MUCH louder... and more annoying..

Jeff, is that the way you feel about a loud Harley too? Are all those guys moron that need to go back to school? It isn't just kids who enjoy a nice sounding car stereo, and if people can hear it outside their car, who cares? it's a free country man.. get with the times.

im another one that hates the overly loud stereo's. i dont want to be sitting in my car with the windows up, and haveing to turn up my raidio so i can actually hear my music over some asshole sitting 3 cars behind me. or when i can hear them in my house from out on the main road, wich is almost a quarter mile away.

as for the harley's, i dont mind them so much because its not very common. its not like every 16-25 year old in the country has a harley they drive 7 days a week 365 days a year.
