im not exactly sure. Thats the funny thing...but i guess people feel connected with someones lives if they read blogs. There are whole blogging communities that consider blogging the ultimate form of socialization. I read some article recently in some big national magazine(for the life of me I cannot remember) about some woman that invited her friends to a party and none of them showed up. She got upset and asked why and her friends were like "We linked to your blog. Its the same thing!" And you know what? They were serious. I even know a few people like that(and before you say "you need new friends"...for the record they are NOT my friends. I simply know some people that do this shit) and I just wanna go American History X on them. It is NOT a form of socialization...in fact I see the people that spend most of their time blogging(not knocking all bloggers...just the OCD ones) as actually hiding for social interaction. Keyboards and broadband connections are wonderful tools when used properly...but some bloggers are using it as a terrible tool.

I swear to god the 8th deadly sin is going to be Blogging.
