Who do you want to see in the next season of VERSUS! ?
Well, with the current season of "VERSUS!" about to come to an end, who would you like to see entering the fray, facing off against and beating eachother to a pulp?
I'd like to see the following tearing the stuffings out of each other:
Elmo vs. Bigbird
Bigbird vs. The Cookie monster
Gregy the Bunny vs. One of the teletubies (perfereably the Po ) , and lastly
Jason X vs. Freddie
So who would you like to see?
Edit: And volunteers are needed too to host the next season of VERSUS! if and when it goes down, I won't have the time for it anymore, it'll be a busy week for me next week as I will be writing a bunch of tests and preparing for exams in a couple of weeks, so I'd appreaciate it if someone else would volunteer to do this please, thnx.
And a special sorry goes out to all the admins, for posting this in the wrong section, I was confusled at the time, sorry about that.

I like the sound of that.
And the God vs. Satan one could prove a little disturbing for some of the members...Ghost Rider vs. Vengence sounds alot better.
But we can certainly do the Saddam vs. Bush or Saddam vs. Binladen one.
I was thinking of G.W. Bush vs. Hitler?
Or Barry White vs. Tony Blair?
How do you guys like the sound of that? I would like the next season to be an interuniverse one, this one was just mainly game characters (yes, Homer Simpson does star in a game) to get the feel set right. Or mabye this,
Britney Spears vs. Elton John
And don't forget, I still need someone to volunteer to host the next one.

I would maybe stay away from the bush vs hitler thing, there is plenty of that going on in the flame/religious zones. I would hate to see this turn into something like that. this is supposed to be fun, not some sort of political statement. PLus, that sort of stuff is getting pretty old.

Yeah, you are right, well, I was actually going to post cartoon pictures of them so that they looked a bit "non-realistic", but the tension from the FWZ will probably pour into the thread as you are saying.
Scrap the idea, how bout a few pokemon battles instead?
Pikatchu vs. Charmanda
Squirtle vs. Charizard
Bulbasaur vs. Butterfree
Ok, the Squirtle vs. Charizard one is a little "extreme", Squirtle would be completely put out by Charizard should he even decide to fight, lest he just leave him to exhaust himself and tire out.
Edit: sorry for any "inconveniences", I had meant to say "squirtle"

Well the Splinter Cell vs. Metal Gear thing has already been done already (Sam Fisher vs. Solid Snake), unless you mean the actual games, but it's hard to imagine the acutal CDs getting up off the shelves and doing anything.
Bosox vs. Yankees is good, could add a little "sports" feel to the whole thing, but it'll be kinda hard for a single guy to beat up the whole team single handedly...which would be interesting to watch.
And battleaxe, I like the Royal Rumble idea you posted earlier, but it would be hard to incorparate it into the rules, maybe as a bonus battle that goes on for eons? And it would be kinda meticullous for people to vote the stats of each and every player unless the number of people participating was kept to a minimum. Could add a lot of pizaz to the whole thing if we can get it straightened out however.

Man, I had a hard time figuring out which post I wanted to quote, but I chose this one coz of it's urgency over the others.
Well, normally after one season of "VERSUS!" (which is some new game in the off-topic forum that is really fun and enjoyable Pimpsta), a cool-down of about a month to a couple of weeks is allowed, actually I need someone to "run" the new game when it starts, and also to take care of this thread when I'm gone and only be able to pop in for just a while to see what's happening and maybe join in. Exams are starting and I'll be mighty busy, so I need someone who'll volunteer to look after that thread, and this one while people suggest, they'd be the ones to make decisions on the participants in the next game and the length the battles go and when to throw in a bonus battle (just in case you were wondering, you should pm the organiser if you want to throw in a bonus battle with the peeps you'd like to put in against one another and ask him for your cue to come in and post the battle so that he can announce it to everybody so as not to get everybody real confused.) and stuff like that.
Zardon vs. Terry Makedon would be pretty mean , we've already got something planned with battleaxe that's already to that effect - you'll love it.
Gandalf vs. Merlin is good, we could use that.
Victor Wooten Vs. Jaco , nice
Roger Moore vs Sean Connery , pretty
drizzt do'urden vs bruenor battlehammer , that could be a good one
But it'll be up to whoever volunteers to host the next games to decide exactly who's going to participate in them from this list when he volunteers, if no body volunteers, I'll be forced to select someone I'd like to host them.
I'd also like to appologise for making a very stupid statement above that "Blastoise could be whipped by Charizard", Charizard would die for those of you who know about pokemon, don't know what was wrong with me at the time, but I had intended to say "Squirtle vs. Charizard", but that would be unfair and I don't think we'd do that.
If the organiser decides to add pokemon into it, he'd have to use pokemon that are on the same level of evolution, but our "human" competitors would have a hard time beating them, unless they had an overwhelming favourable preference held by alot of the players, otherwise it would be doomsday for 'em (as we've already seen in the current VERSUS! )
So, that's all I have to say for now, thnx for participating in this so far, all of this wouldn't have been possible with out you guys.

Heavy man, real heavy.I don't think it would be wise to have users fighting against users though, I think maybe we should steer away from the idea.

Yeah, that's ok, remember, it won't be me makin the decesions about who's gonna participate or not, but as long as the guys in question don't mind, I guess it would be ok.
And I had actually wanted to say yes initially.
No worries dude, since no one seems to be volunteering anyway, I was going to choose you to host this thing, and since now is as good as any other time, I think I'll put an end to the search and choose you. If you don't mind doing it that is.
