Rosewill ATI 9200 card comes in an ... nVidia box!!!!

Now before you tell me it's a mistake on Newegg's part, let me tell you this, my buddy just got this card, and it came in that same box that is shown on the picture

. And yes, it's a Radeon 9200 in the box, not a GeForce

.

Now I did some more poking around, and found this on Rosewill's own site... Apparently, they are using a new chip for their cards

Wow!!!! Maybe it's to do with some new peace negotiations between ATi and Nvidia that might have acutally gone somewhere!

I'd buy one, if not just to show my grand children one day after the merger between ATi and Nvidia and say...children, this is where it all began.

You did read my original post, right? It clearly states my friend received an ATI 9200 in an nVidia GeForce box as shown on the picture, it's not just a picture mishap on newegg's part.... Redeon is just for kicks though.

But it would be nice if you could get an ATi Radeon packaged in such a box, now that would be something to show to all your friends and family!!!

After you've safely extracted the contents contained by the box ofcourse.
