The lawsuite is over how the hotels reacted adequately to the diaster? How do they think they would react with all the damage, mayhem and death that surrounded them. It does not matter what happens bad in the world, there will always be someone out to make a buck from it.

exactly! it was a natural disaster. even if they would have had say 1-2 hrs warning i do not think it would have made much difference. & there is no way the closest areas could have gotten that much warning under any circumstances.

A proper warning system along with evacuation routes would of made a huge difference, possibly in tens of thousands of lives. As for these lawsuit: the ones suing don't even live in any of the countries hit by the tsunami - so they can go to hell if they want money.
