The wife finally got back about 5 minutes after the kids bed time, (it took 5 people & an hour and a half to get my plate off me old car.

), and we all went out for a quick cruise. (Hey, I promised them they could see the new vehicle!

)
I really hadn't had a chance to look at the thing even though I went along with for the test drive, I pretty much just spent all day chasing my 2 year old daughter all over a Nissan/Volvo/Jaguar dealership. ("Kitty-kitty-kitty cars Dad!!! MEOW-MEOW!!!", she merrilly cried as she fondled and touched every nicely polished Jaguar symbol on all the nice 80K cars with me chasing after her just hoping she didn't break much.

) The test drive I was too busy trying to keep her all happiful and was too busy to notice much. (We skipped nappy today, we spent it skipping around the kitty-cars.

) I wasn't in a mood today to be excited about nothing, I was too damned busy.
But when we went for a drive....
I popped "The Rugrats Movie" into the VCR and the kids frigging disappeared! They were absolutely enchanted, and all I heard from them was peals of laughter and delight. My wife actually likes having an automatic, (did I mention it's an auto too? Jeeze, I think I'll cut me nuggers off now and go out tomorrow and buy a soccer ball sticker for the window.

), and I gotta admit it might be nice to have one less thing to think about while keeping an eye on the kids.
Oh, and the movie happens to be one of my faves and when the "I am Reptar hear me Roar!" came on I sort of freaked....my car has a 5.1 surround system hooked up to to the VCR.
Gotta run, my wife just ran out and got some gyros in the new family cruiser. I really think I'm gonna like it once I calm down now that the kids are sleeping. (One brightside to the day: it was very, very easy to get the kids to bed tonight.

)
