Photography buffs - what camera do you own?
Well im heavily into photography - i recently picked up my newest camera which is totally incredible, the Canon EOS 20D and a sigma 17-40mm lens to go into my collection (cost a small fortune mind you), I use it for almost everything with super macro work being handled by my trusty Fuji S20 pro.
what about you guys, any nice cameras?

I use a Sony Cyber Shot P52; 2x optical zoom; 3.2 megapixles; uses 2 AA rechargeable Ni-HM batteries and MMC Pro
Was about $185USD last Christmas when I bought it. Came with a 16MB Memory Card, recharger, A/V connector and batteries.

I have a canon powershot a80 (4.0mp, 3x optical zoom) and it takes great pictures. It has very nice preset shutters and allows for vast customization of almost everything. It's lcd screen is also a flip face to protect it and you can therefore take pictures from various different positions.

I got a Pentax ZX-50 and several lenses that I cant remember, but i know that I have a Sigma 70-300mm lens with Macro and infared filter. Its a really pimp lens.
the Pentax aint the best, but honestly it has awesome quality in photographs. It just lacks some finesse with the autofocus(which you shouldnt use anyway ).

i got a $50 rebate if i buy a canon photo printer. looking at the 6000($179) or the 5000($199). anybody here got experience/preference with either of these?
well since you guys do not seem to know s..t about photo printers i got the canon pixma ip 5000. this thing is actually capable of delivering 1picoliter drops. has 5 seperate ink wells & prints fast.
i have an hp officejet d125xi(does everything very nicely) & there is no comparision. so nyah!

I've got a canon 300D with a few lenses (Favorite ones are a 50mm 1.8 MK1 and a 28-135 IS USM), not up to the same standard as the 20D but it does for me.

I'm useing a kodac 4.0 mega pixel DX4900 for my stuff 35-70mm 2x optical zoom
does 4.0, *4.0 high compression* what i use, 3.1,2.2,1.0 modes it has a buch of contols wich I don't use like shutter speed etc...
other wise the file sizes are insane...
yes thats my old grundgey coutch no one uses any more that sets against the wall a picks up odds and ends
two notes the light fixture is what i focused on and this was in the dark...
and free style.... if you move much with this camera at all you'll get blurry images.. long as you still you'l get verry crisp very clean images at way up close and at far...
took quite a while to get it down
Also I've resized this image 2448x1632 to 50% (1224x816)

ATM I use a canon powershot G3. I sold a Nikon D70 earlier this year - I only had it a couple of months and just couldn't get used to it. I prefer canon.
I am also saving now for a pro level DSLR - something like a canon eos 1D MkII or whatever they have out at the time of me having enough money.
I had a 1D for a week, last year (borrowed from a very trusting friend) and they rock!!
I think using that for a week was what ended up putting me off the D70.

The Dimage A2 is hard to beat in the prosumer range, it has a decent wide angle of 28mm with an 8 MP count and anti shake. good value.
