Try the DHzer0point drivers, there's a great deal of compatibility fixes added to the set....

these drivers worked fine on my kt133
but not on my kt600... how strange
im gunna test my ram and see if theres something wrong there
and then i'll try runng some games
any idea why my resolution keeps resetting back to 1600x1200?
even if i set it to 1280x1024
i remember having an issue where it would set itself back to 640x480 but that was fixed by system restore..
i can't use system restore this time so doe anyone know of any windows setting that makes my system revert back to 1600x 1200
its a custom res that i added in the nv control panel
this didn't last week when my old mobo worked.. any ideas why it is now... also.. why would my 3dmark03 be locking up... come on dudes
this is the most hit thread.. someones gotta know?

FIXED
disabled agp 8x and all lockups are gone
i'll be investigating this by flashing my card back to the stock bios, and reinstalling the chipset drivers after uninstalling em
and here i was thinking it was the ram lol

Are you overclocked? A re-install of the chipset drivers may fix the AGP issue you could also try the nvstrap driver, you can install it through rivatuner, but make sure you uninstall it before installing any new gfx drivers or you'll have issues....

video card is bios modded with higher clocks but thats all
i don't think the nvstrap driver will help in this situation
disabling fastwrites and sba didn't fix it so i have them turned back on and just left agp8x off
what happens is when agp8x is on any 3dap like 3dmark or even the dxdiag d3d tests, lockup at random points
if i can make it the trolls cavern in 3dmark03 as the lady swings the doors open there are artifacts coming from her head but only from the left of her...
in dxdiag dx7 usually gets through fine
dx8 locks up or just doesn't show up and then ends and asks if you saw the box no i didn't lol
then dx9 test shows up and its all screwed textures.. blues and yellows and neon greens
agp4x all d3d tests work perfect
all 3dmark03 test work and the artifacts are gone from the troll game demo test
cpu is stock fsb is stock
vid card is oc but changing the oc had no affect
could it be coz i only did a reinstall of the chipser drivers and not uninstalling them then reinstalling them
