psu is replaced,,...
got thier and the guy tells me.. is it an omni an im like yeah.. and hes like.. when you buy it.. i say sept.. and he goes i'll just get a replacement for yah
then he tellls me that alot of omni psu's are being returned DEAD
now i have a problem... anyone know why my windows keeps loading up in 1600x1200 even if i have it set at 1280x1024 before i shut down,... it seems my desktop settings aren't being saved before shutting down... anyone have any ideas..
also.. my 3dmark03 keeps locking up.. but im pretty sure its the new mobo.. might need to tweak out a few settings in the bios

What is the W of your new PSU?? Running the latest bios?? Do you have the latest drivers??? |

Alrighty, maybe my hearing is bad, I dont know...but I was wondering, the new Jennifer Lopez video and song "Get Right", I can almost understand her lyrics...but is the male voice saying "big butt" or what....I almost like the song...if not for the clever makeup routines and Lopez playing different hispanic female characters in the video...but just wondering.....if my hearing is going bad or what...LOL...help anyone please, I dont care for Lopez all that much but the video is clever

new psu is 400w old one was 450w.. but this 400w has higher amps then the 450w and its not shutting my machine down
the 450w had a burnt smell so i think a capacitor was screwed anyway
updated to the latest bios last night so i could turn off sata/raid rev1.02 didn't have that option but rev1.08 bios does
using 66.93 / 67.03
both sets caused lockups in 3dmark03 and there was some wierd arti's on the troll cave when she just flings open the doors at the start
lockups happen at different times
and my res is set at 1280x1024 now but i guarantee apon reboot it'll be back at 1600x1200 at boot up
now 1600x1200 and 1600x1024 are custom res's but i never had these problems on either driver sets before, so im wondering maybe i changed some windows option and its not saving the desktop resolution....

Hmmm you do have strange problems. Try a reinstall of Windows and see if that helps, usually does.

i don't wanna reinstal windows  it gives me issues when i have to do that
theres gotta be some other way... or maybe i just shouldn't set up the custom res's... or maybe i've set something that makes windows boot in custom res's only |

your not listning lol
i loaded a via ide tool once and it had problems uninstalling.. i really dun wanna reinstall windows... maybe just removing the custom res's... im thinking the 3dmark03 lockups are becoz of my ram... things crash on here when the ram fills up and it switches to the pagefile
maybe reinstalling service pack 2 would do it?
