so maybe i wont be getting a ps3 next week after all. it doesnt look like my sony style credit card will be here by next wednesday (100 bucks off a ps3 purchase) and the free 100 dollar gift card with the purchase of any blu ray player ends next sunday.

and to top it all off, the 2 walmarts in the area are only getting 2 bundles each (where the gift card is from) and all the other walmarts with in 20 miles from me arent even getting a single one.

if you applied for the card, they should be able to bring up your info by your SSN if it was at walmart that you applied for the sony CC

it wasnt, it was online. i called them this afternoon and they just said it was under review. couldnt tell me how long it will take.

had to do some researching into how to hook up my ps3, seeing as i just have 1 optical input, 1 dvid input, and no HDMI.

looks like ill need 2 optical cables, an optical splitter, an HDMI to DVI cable, and an extended DVI plug that i can manually plug/unplug from. i looked at kvm switches, but i couldnt find much that that did 1600x1200 with a dvid output, and didnt cost a fortune.
